Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last Updated: May 7, 2026

This page describes your right, under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA") and similar laws in other U.S. states, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information by RepairsOnWheel on repairsonwheel.com (the "Site").

It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What "Sale" and "Sharing" Mean Here

Under California law:

  • A sale generally means disclosing personal information to a third party in exchange for money or other valuable consideration.
  • Sharing generally means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, even if no money changes hands.

Other U.S. state privacy laws use similar, but not identical, terms.

Where they apply, we treat your opt-out request consistently with those laws.

2. What We Do and Do Not Do

RepairsOnWheel does not sell your personal information for money. However, when advertising or analytics cookies are active on the Site, our advertising and analytics partners may receive information about your visit through cookies and similar technologies.

Under California and similar U.S. state laws, that activity may be considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Categories of Information That May Be Shared

When advertising cookies are active, the information that may be shared with our advertising and analytics partners includes:

  • Internet activity, such as pages viewed on the Site, time on site, and clicks
  • Device and browser identifiers, including cookie IDs and a basic browser fingerprint
  • General geographic location derived from your IP address (such as country, state, or city — not precise GPS location)
  • Browser and operating-system metadata, such as language and screen size

We do not knowingly share sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers, government identifiers, or health information) for advertising. Please do not submit this kind of information through our contact form.

4. Categories of Recipients

The third parties that may receive this information when you have not opted out fall into a small number of categories:

  • Analytics providers that help us understand Site usage
  • Advertising networks and demand-side platforms that serve and measure ads
  • Service providers that host or support the Site on our behalf (these typically do not receive information for their own advertising use)

5. How to Exercise Your Opt-Out Right

You can opt out of "sale" and "sharing" through any of the methods below. Each method works independently — you only need to use one.

  • Use the cookie banner. Click "Decline" on the cookie banner the first time you visit, or clear this Site's cookies in your browser to make the banner reappear, then click "Decline."
  • Use the button below.
  • Send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for that browser, as required by California law.
  • Email us. Send a message to support@repairsonwheel.com with the subject "Opt-Out Request" and a short description of your request.

Each browser and device stores its own cookie preference, so you may need to opt out separately on each browser and device you use to visit the Site.

6. Your Other Privacy Rights

Depending on the U.S. state where you live, you may also have rights to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used and disclosed
  • Access a copy of that information in a portable format
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Delete personal information we have collected
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • Appeal our decision on your request, where state law provides an appeal right
  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny you the Site, charge you a different price, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a privacy right

7. How to Submit a Rights Request

To submit any of the requests above, email support@repairsonwheel.com with a clear description of the request. We may need to confirm your identity before responding — for example, by asking you to reply from an email address we already have on file. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally within 45 days, with one possible extension where allowed).

8. Authorized Agents

You may authorize someone else to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask for signed written permission from you and may ask you to verify your identity directly before we act on the request.

9. Minors

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years old.

10. Updates to This Page

We may update this page from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version.
