Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: May 7, 2026

RepairsOnWheel is committed to making repairsonwheel.com (the "Site") usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should be able to access clear, plain-language information about how electronic devices work.

1. Our Standard

We aim to align the Site with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, an internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. We are working toward this standard on a continuing basis and treat accessibility as an ongoing improvement effort rather than a one-time project.

2. What We Have Done

  • Semantic structure. Pages use a clear heading hierarchy (one H1 per page, followed by H2 and H3) so screen readers can navigate articles in a logical order.
  • Color contrast. We maintain contrast ratios that meet WCAG AA for body text and meaningful UI elements.
  • Keyboard navigation. Menus, buttons, links, the search overlay, and the cookie banner are reachable and operable with the keyboard.
  • Focus styles. Interactive elements show a visible focus indicator when reached with the keyboard.
  • Resizable text. Text can be resized in the browser up to 200% without losing content or functionality.
  • Reduced motion. Animations respect the "prefers-reduced-motion" setting in your operating system, where the browser supports it.
  • Descriptive links. Links use text that makes sense out of context (we avoid generic "click here" wording).
  • Plain language. Articles are written in clear English with short sentences, simplified word choices, and "quick summary" boxes on long pages.
  • No time-limited content. The Site does not require you to act within a time limit to read content.
  • Image alternatives. Decorative graphics use empty alt text; meaningful images and SVG illustrations are given descriptive alternative text.

3. Known Limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We have not yet completed a formal third-party accessibility audit, and we are aware that some areas of the Site may not fully meet every WCAG AA criterion. Known areas we are working on include:

  • Some interactive elements rendered with JavaScript may behave inconsistently with older screen readers
  • Some color combinations in promotional graphics may need contrast improvements
  • Some long tables may need additional row/column headers to be fully screen-reader friendly

If you encounter another issue not listed here, please let us know so we can address it.

4. Recommended Browsers and Assistive Technology

The Site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and common screen readers. If you use older software or specialized assistive technology, some features may not behave as expected.

We try to keep the core reading experience usable across as many setups as possible.

5. Third-Party Content

The Site may include third-party content such as advertising or embedded resources. The accessibility of that content is determined by the third party that provides it.

If you have trouble with a specific third-party element, please let us know so we can investigate.

6. How to Report an Accessibility Problem

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the Site — or have a suggestion for how we can do better — please email support@repairsonwheel.com with the subject line "Accessibility Feedback." Please include:

  • A short description of the issue
  • The URL where the issue occurs
  • The browser and assistive technology you are using, if known

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 10 business days and to work on a fix as quickly as we reasonably can.

7. Alternative Access

If you are unable to access information on the Site due to a disability, contact us at support@repairsonwheel.com and we will work with you to provide the information in an alternative format where reasonably possible.

8. Updates to This Statement

We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect improvements, new features, or changes in standards. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
