Copyright Policy
Last Updated: May 7, 2026
RepairsOnWheel respects intellectual property and expects users of the Site to do the same. This Copyright Policy explains how to report material on repairsonwheel.com (the "Site") that you believe infringes your copyright, and how we respond to such reports.
We follow the notice-and-takedown procedure of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and similar principles under the laws of other countries.
1. Our Own Content
All articles, tutorials, illustrations, diagrams, and other material on the Site are original works created for RepairsOnWheel or used under license. We do not knowingly publish infringing content.
If we are notified of a credible infringement issue, we will investigate and act promptly.
2. How to Submit a Copyright Notice
If you are a copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that content on the Site infringes a copyright you control, please send a written notice by email to support@repairsonwheel.com with the subject line "Copyright Notice."
To be effective, your notice must include all of the following:
- A clear identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (for example, a URL where the original work appears, or a description of the work)
- A clear identification of the material on RepairsOnWheel you claim is infringing, including the URL(s) of the specific page(s)
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- The following statement: "I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material identified above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
- The following statement: "The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright that is allegedly infringed."
- Your physical or electronic signature
Notices that do not include all of this information may not be valid and may delay our response.
3. What Happens After You Submit a Notice
When we receive a complete, good-faith notice, we will review it promptly. If we agree the material is likely infringing, we may remove or disable access to it and notify whoever provided the material, where applicable.
We may also remove related material if we believe it raises the same issue.
4. Counter-Notice
If you believe content was removed or disabled in error or as a result of misidentification, you may send a counter-notice by email to support@repairsonwheel.com with the subject line "Copyright Counter-Notice." Your counter-notice must include:
- A clear identification of the material that was removed or disabled, including the URL where it used to appear
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- The following statement: "I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification."
- The following statement: "I consent to the jurisdiction of the United States Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located (or, if my address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which RepairsOnWheel may be found), and I will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original copyright notice or that person's agent."
- Your physical or electronic signature
We will share a valid counter-notice with the original complaining party. If they do not file a lawsuit within the time period required by applicable law, we may restore the material at our discretion.
5. Repeat Infringers
It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances, to restrict or block access for users we identify as repeat infringers of copyright.
6. Misuse of This Process
Submitting a false or bad-faith copyright notice or counter-notice may expose you to legal liability for damages, costs, and attorneys' fees under applicable law. Please consider consulting an attorney before sending a notice if you are not certain whether the material is infringing.
7. Trademarks and Other Rights
If you believe content on the Site infringes a trademark or other intellectual-property right you own, please email support@repairsonwheel.com with the subject line "IP Notice" and a clear description of your rights, the material you believe is infringing, and your contact information.
8. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Copyright Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
